Master of Laws | Intellectual Property Emphasis

24 credits | 3 hours core courses, 21 hours specialized elective courses

The LL.M. in Intellectual Property requires the completion of 24 credit hours, including core intellectual property courses, electives, a professional skills course, and an upper-level writing requirement. International students also complete an introduction to the U.S. legal system to strengthen their comparative legal knowledge. The curriculum is designed to provide both breadth and depth, allowing students to build a strong foundation in intellectual property law while tailoring their studies to specific areas of interest. Graduates are prepared to serve clients effectively, contribute to policy development, and address the evolving challenges of intellectual property law in diverse contexts.
