Texas A&M School of Law Graduate Certificates
Graduate-level law certificates are designed for professionals holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent who are interested in understanding the legal aspects of their industry without the monetary and time commitment of a full master’s degree. However, certificates are stackable, meaning credits earned through a certificate program can go on to count toward a Master of Legal Studies (M.L.S.) program down the road. Individuals interested in an LL.M. focused certification require approval on an individual basis. Federal student aid for certificates is currently only available in certain areas.
Courses are offered 100% online via asynchronous distance learning, allowing working professionals to access coursework and assignments on their own schedule. This online format includes case study assignments and regular interaction with classmates through video meetings, audio casts, chat rooms, discussion boards, and group breakout sessions
