Courses are offered via asynchronous distance learning, allowing working professionals to access coursework and assignments on their own schedule.  The Certificate in Energy Law – Environmental and Energy Law and Policy is designed for new and experienced environmental energy industry professionals, including experts who work in clean energy environments such as wind and solar power, environmental engineers, and renewable energy consultants and specialists. The certificate prepares these individuals to effectively address complex legal and policy challenges in the environmental energy sector as they apply to policies, business, and economic factors. Participants learn about important federal and state laws, regulations and policies in the environmental energy sector, advances in theory and practice, and applications of law, regulation and policies through case studies.
